Position Profile
The Manager/Senior Manager position will play a key role in delivering tax structuring advice, supporting business transactions, and providing high-quality tax consultancy services. This role will involve extensive engagement in M&A and real estate transactions, ensuring tax efficiencies are maximised in both sectors. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and versatile tax team that advises on a wide variety of tax matters, including acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, property tax, fund structuring, and employee share incentives. Collaboration with senior professionals will be key to developing innovative tax strategies and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert tax guidance on corporate and real estate transactions, ensuring optimal structuring and compliance
- Draft and review tax-related documentation, contributing to seamless transaction execution
- Advise on tax implications related to M&A, commercial property transactions, VAT, capital allowances, and devolved tax regulations
- Develop bespoke tax planning solutions to support clients in achieving their strategic objectives
- Assist in structuring and implementing tax-efficient employee share schemes in line with corporate activities
- Provide specialist tax advice on investment funds, including structuring and executive remuneration considerations
- Deliver tax-related training and thought leadership to internal teams and clients
- Engage in business development initiatives, strengthening client relationships and identifying new opportunities
- Ensure full compliance with relevant tax legislation while upholding best practices in data security and integrity
Person Profile
- 2-5+ years PQE with extensive experience in UK corporate and real estate tax advisory
- Experience in M&A is highly advantageous
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to deliver practical, strategic tax advice
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience handling complex transactions
- Proficient in problem-solving and analytical thinking, with meticulous attention to detail
- Track record of contributing to business development and growing client relationships
- Adaptable and proactive, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
