Lining Technician

Overview

We are recruiting lining technicians with experience in plastic membranes and/or single ply roofing/sheet membranes.

• £17 per hour for price work when available

We specialise in sustainable water asset management solutions, delivering exceptional value in potable water, wastewater, and environmental sectors.

What you\’ll be doing

Working on clean, dirty water, and environmental sites, using tools such as Leister heat guns and wedge welders. Installing membranes from 1.0mm to 2.0mm (HDPE, LLDPE, FLAGON). Work will be both external and internal, on structures/assets including:

• Ponds
• Reservoir roof liners
• Drainage details
• Reed beds
• Flagon baffle curtains
• S/S baffle curtains
• Lead joint encapsulating
• Internal tank linings
• Temporary hatch covers

Travel and overnight stays will be frequent.

Who we’re looking for

Seeking candidates with proven experience in extrusion welding and wedge welding.

Experience with single ply roofing, plastic membranes, or plastic flooring is advantageous.

Willingness to learn other products and applications such as overbanding and waterproofing.
