• Salary: £33,500 – £52,000

Required Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• Desirable experience with ASD/SEMH/SEN needs
• Proven track record of obtaining positive student outcomes
• Innovative, passionate and pro‑active approach
• Experience in developing intuitive lesson plans and curriculum development

The role

• Teach pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) across a range of SEN needs and ages, especially those with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and related conditions
• Support pupils making progress across the curriculum, differentiating where appropriate
• Produce pupil SEN passports, monitor academic, social, communication development, contribute to provision mapping, annual reviews and ILPs
• Support staff training to meet pupil needs
• Guide the work of tutors (TAs and HLTAs) working with pupils who have EHCPs
• Provide pastoral support and guidance for all pupils
