Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Band 6 Clinical Lead to recruit at Ancora House, the in-patient child and adolescent mental health service. Ancora House has 2 inpatient wards, Coral and Indigo, providing person-centered acute care for young people aged 14-18.
You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team and will be required to work on a rotational shift basis, which includes days, nights, and twilight shifts. The post offers the successful applicant the exciting opportunity to join this team in providing the highest quality of care for our service users. Ancora House is based on the Countess of Chester Health Park Site approximately 1.5 miles from Chester city centre.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Ward Manager and the MDT in delivering a high quality Mental Health Service for young people.
- Providing clinical leadership within the ward team to promote a high standard of patient care.
- Providing management support, deputising for the Ward Manager in their absence.
- Acting as a source of expertise within the ward and wider hospital.
The individual must be able to demonstrate an understanding and application of the 6 C’s in practice: Care; Compassion; Competence; Communication; Courage and Commitment.
