Senior Structural Designer

As part of our growing workload portfolio, Archer is currently looking for a Senior Structural Designer to support ongoing and future projects. As Senior Structural Designer for Engineering UK, you will work in a team of highly competent designers and engineers. Your responsibilities will include: Identifying and implementing solutions Production and checking of design deliverables Input to planning and progress reporting Producing detailed design estimates and tendering The ideal candidate should be self-driven, proactive, enthusiastic, and a team player with broad experience in offshore engineering, preferably specific to drilling. The ability to work collaboratively and bring enthusiasm is essential. Essential skills and experience: AutoCAD 2D experience AutoCAD 3D modeling experience, including use of CloudScan data Structural brownfield experience of offshore installations Awareness of applicable structural and offshore codes & standards Desirable skills and qualifications: HNC/HND in engineering Knowledge and experience of offshore drilling facilities Offshore survey experience and valid certificates #J-18808-Ljbffr
