Online Trading Manager

Salary: Freelance rate based on experience Online Trading Manager – Maternity Cover (FTC) | Immediate Start London | 37.5 hrs/week (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Online Trading Manager to join a high-profile organisation in the sports and entertainment sector on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is an immediate start role with a strong focus on driving eCommerce performance and optimising the customer journey. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day operations for the online store, lead commercial trading campaigns, and play a key role in delivering seamless digital experiences across multiple touchpoints. Key Responsibilities: Manage site trading, merchandising, and content across the eCommerce platform Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including key retail events Optimise site performance and user experience (UX), with a mobile-first mindset Monitor sales, customer behaviour, and stock availability using analytics tools Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance fulfilment, customer service, and technical integrations What we’re looking for: Proven experience in online trading, ideally within sports, fashion, or retail Strong commercial mindset with a focus on delivering sales growth Hands-on experience with CMS platforms and web analytics tools Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills Ability to work during peak periods and major retail events (e.g., product launches, Black Friday) The role also requires availability on select event days and during high-demand retail campaigns.
