Location: Redcar
Salary: £20 - £28 Per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
We are looking for passionate and committed Tutors to provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs in English and Maths at Key Stage 3/4 level. Duties will include:
- Creating individualised learning plans
- Delivering engaging lessons
- Assessing student progress
- Collaborating with other education professionals to ensure students' academic success
Required Qualifications / Experience:
- Relevant teaching qualification – QTS is desirable.
- A degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEMH, ASD, ADHD, Behaviours that challenge).
- Strong knowledge of the KS3/4 English and Maths curriculum.
Required knowledge and skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Tuition sessions will take place in either the students’ homes or local Community Hubs/Libraries, liaising with parents and other education professionals.
