We require a teacher to deliver whole class instrumental lessons in the following disciplines: Strings, Brass, Guitar/Ukulele. The majority of the work is based in the Harrogate and Skipton area.

North Yorkshire Music Service is seeking to employ teachers able to deliver whole class instrumental lessons across Harrogate and Skipton, working in small primary schools.

Salary is based on qualification, e.g., QTS status up to M6.

Unqualified teachers with strong whole class instrumental skills will also be considered.

Mileage is paid at 45p per mile between schools, and travel time is also compensated.

The position is on a variable hours contract, depending on school buy-back at the start of the year. Currently, we are looking for cover for 8 to 16 hours per week, with potential for more work through small group and individual tuition or increased school buy-back.

We provide instrumental and vocal tuition to pupils across North Yorkshire through our county music service.
