Our client, a leading technology provider in the financial services sector is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join their dynamic, globally distributed team. Role Overview: As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that software products meet and exceed the highest industry standards. You’ll collaborate with development teams to create and execute both automated and manual tests, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated/manual tests to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Work closely with developers to identify, diagnose, and resolve defects.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and metrics to track software quality.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and other SDLC activities.
  • Stay informed of emerging technologies and best practices in software quality assurance.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software quality engineering.
  • Strong experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and performance testing tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript, Java, or Python).
  • Experience with DevOps tooling (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) and microservices architecture is a plus.
