My client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a talented and driven Senior Proposals Executive to support its global Energy & Natural Resources sector team. This role is pivotal in advancing the firm’s business development strategy through the creation of compelling proposals, RFP responses, and client-facing materials.

The firm has a strong reputation and works with an impressive portfolio of clients. This is a newly created role with lots of scope for long term development.

The main remit for this Senior Proposals Executive role will include:

  • Lead and support the development of high-quality proposals, RFPs, and capability statements for the ENR sector.
  • Manage end-to-end pitch processes, ensuring alignment with firm-wide best practices.
  • Collaborate with partners and business development colleagues to craft persuasive messaging and winning strategies.
  • Coordinate contributions from multiple stakeholders across geographies and time zones.
  • Draft, edit, and format proposal content, including executive summaries and bespoke responses.
  • Assist in preparing partners for client presentations and engagement meetings.
  • Track proposal activity and outcomes using the firm’s CRM system.
  • Maintain and update a library of proposal content and generate related reports.
  • Conduct post-submission reviews to capture insights and improve future performance.

The successful candidate for this Senior Proposals Executive role will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar proposals or business development role within a professional services environment.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a focus on producing high-quality content.
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and present ideas clearly.
