The Role
Are you an experienced HGV engineer ready to bring your expertise to a well-established company with a growing fleet? Do you have the capability and drive to lead a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are a well-established truck rental service provider, looking to appoint an experienced and customer-focused Workshop Controller / Manager to our growing team.
You will oversee a skilled team of engineers across the service and maintenance workshop, ensuring all tasks are allocated effectively and completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage our team of engineers allocating tasks and monitoring progress.
- Organising parts supply from suppliers.
- Managing stock levels.
- Liaising with customers for all stages of work being carried out.
- Ensure all diagnostic equipment is kept updated accordingly for Texa & Jaltest.
- Ensure Health & Safety Standards are kept up at all times.
The Company
CVME was established in 1982 by Philip Browning carrying out servicing, repairs and modifications to commercial vehicles.
Over the years CVME has added a range of vehicles to its already growing fleet which is now in excess of 710 commercial vehicles and refrigerated trailers.
The Person
- HGV engineering experience.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with customers and the team.
- A HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence (beneficial but not essential).
