Configuration Engineer

Our Engineering and Manufacturing client is currently seeking a technically skilled Configuration Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities Interpret manufacturing drawings, including flat patterns and 3D formats. Configure business systems and workflows related to product configuration, rules logic, estimating templates, and Bill of Materials. Utilise systems for automating SolidWorks designs. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to optimizing the configuration and manufacturing processes. Requirements Bachelor\’s degree or similar in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of experience in configuration engineering, CAD administration, or technical documentation roles. Proficiency in MS Excel. Experience with SolidWorks or 3D modelling and understanding of flat pattern design. Attributes Good attention to detail. Ability to thrive under pressure.
