CDL-A Local Truck Driver – Overnights – 11 pm – 7 am Warehouse

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Responsible for transporting goods using box and/or tractor-trailer trucks. Operate various material handling equipment, including Powered Industrial Trucks, in a safe manner.

• Transport goods between company locations.
• Maintain Trip Log according to state and federal regulations and submit to the office monthly for record retention. Perform truck and trailer inspections as required by law. Communicate safety or equipment concerns to management immediately. Report incidents/accidents promptly.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks/trailers for intercompany and over-the-road transport.
• Physically receive and transfer materials to designated storage locations (production, warehouse, line side, etc.).
• Ensure the safe operation of Tractor, Box Truck, and Material Handling equipment, including safety checks, PPE, and following organizational protocols.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damages to Lead Material Handlers.
• Assist with inventory activities such as counting, cycle counts, and spot checks. Consolidate stock as needed.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, incorporating 5S principles.

THE ENVIRONMENT

• Adhere strictly to safety procedures, including wearing safety glasses, steel/composite toe shoes, and hearing protection when necessary.
• Work in a 24/7 facility with various shifts, including a 2/2/3 rotating 12-hour schedule, and 8-hour shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am).
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to temperature swings, forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
• Physical tasks include lifting and operating machinery, with training provided.

Your profile

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience necessary.
• CDL-A license required.
• Basic math skills; forklift experience preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.
