In a newly established role, we are seeking a proficient SAP Functional Specialist to join our Enterprise Application Team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in SAP, particularly with expertise in the PP and MM modules.
As a member of both the UK SAP team and the broader Group SAP team, you will collaborate closely with the UK business. Your responsibilities will include overseeing incident management, change management, and the development of functional specifications to support our production facilities. This role is primarily based at our Trowbridge Head Office, where the majority of our products are manufactured.
You will be expected to support the current SAP offering and provide input and support from an SAP perspective for a new production facility, scheduled for completion in Q4 2026, as well as assist with the transition to a new ERP solution in the coming years.
Responsibilities:
- SME for SAP PP & MM within apetito UK
- Resolve SAP incidents
- Recording business requirements, analysing current processes and developing future processes according to SAP best practice and the business needs.
- Implementation of customising as well as coordination and control of external consultants.
- Perform functional, integration and user acceptance testing.
- Provide technical and end user documentation.
- Ensuring a stable system landscape and provide end user support.
- Provide Cutover/Go Live support and the smooth transition to routine operations.
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in SAP (PP, MM).
- Experience in SAP ECC6 or S/4 Hana.
- Experience in the core SAP PP and MM principles and processes.
- Knowledge about system enhancements and configuration.
- Experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
- Ability to work as part of a cross-functional IT team.
- High level of motivation, reliability and self-organisation.
Desirable:
- SAP PP or MM Certification.
- Experience working within the Food Manufacturing industry.
- Strong cross-functional SAP knowledge.
- Knowledge of MESβs such as Fastec.
- German language is an advantage.
