About the Role:
Reporting to the Client Solutioning Manager, we are seeking an Implementation Execution Lead to manage the successful deployment of our investor onboarding. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation process, ensuring seamless integration with client systems, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a background in transfer agency operations, investor onboarding and software implementation, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Implementation & Execution: Lead the full lifecycle implementation of investor onboarding software within client operations, ensuring timely and successful go-lives. Act as the primary project lead, managing and coordinating with internal Tocan Teams all phases from requirements gathering to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. A hands-on role that will require ownership and execution of implementation project tasks including business and system analysis, specifications and issue resolution. Evolving and creating associated execution practices and associated templates to ensure we create a streamlined, repeatable, and scalable approach to client implementation and execution assignments. Work closely with Tocan Client Solutions and the clients to understand their operational workflows, regulatory requirements, and system dependencies to ensure optimal software configuration. Ensure seamless integration with existing Transfer Agency platforms, third-party data providers, and any inhouse or third-party compliance systems.
- Stakeholder & Project Management: Collaborate with Tocan internal teams, including Client Solutions, Product, QA, and Client Support, to ensure successful delivery. Manage and report project timelines, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues. Facilitate regular status updates, governance meetings, and issue resolution discussions with clients and senior stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expertise on investor onboarding best practices and software adoption strategies. Contributing toward product development.
- Process Optimisation & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of implementation methodologies, ensuring efficiency, repeatability, and scalability. Provide feedback to the Tocan Product Team based on client experiences to drive software enhancements. Develop and maintain best practice documentation, runbooks, and training materials to streamline future implementations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience ideally in Transfer Agency, Fund Administration, or Investor Services, with a focus on investor onboarding, compliance, and operational workflows.
- Strong project management experience, preferably in software implementation or technology-driven transformation projects within financial services.
- Hands-on knowledge of investor onboarding processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen focus on process efficiency and automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SaaS-based investor onboarding solutions or enterprise financial technology platforms.
- Project management certification.
- Experience in a client-facing role within a financial software or fintech company.
