About Us:
Finatal is currently partnered with a large PE backed software business who are looking are actively seeking a seasoned Interim M&A Consultant to join their team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting their C-suite, Head of Business Development, and Private Equity investors in executing strategic M&A initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Guidance: Collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape and refine M&A strategies that align with our business objectives.
· Due Diligence: Lead and participate in all aspects of due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment. Ensure that potential acquisitions align with our investment criteria.
· Financial Modelling: Develop complex financial models to evaluate the financial impact of potential M&A opportunities, assess synergy potential, and inform investment decisions.
· Deal Execution: Act as the project lead for M&A transactions, coordinating all aspects of deal execution, including negotiations, legal documentation, and integration planning.
· Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Private Equity investors, legal teams, target company executives, and third-party consultants.
Qualifications:
· Accounting Qualified, Big 4 Transactional Services is highly preferred.
· Experience with Software/SaaS is necessary.
· Industry experience is necessary
