Your Role as Adviser Development Manager
As the Sales Development Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our advisers deliver outstanding client service while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll focus on coaching and mentoring, helping advisers achieve their potential while safeguarding our business integrity.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Adviser Development & Coaching
- Provide tailored coaching to advisers, helping them enhance sales performance and regulatory adherence.
- Conduct one-to-one sessions, offering actionable feedback and guidance.
- Mentor junior advisers through the competency framework, conducting performance observations.
- Champion best practices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality advice process across the team.
Compliance Leadership
- Maintain and implement robust compliance frameworks, aligned with FCA regulations.
- Oversee Training & Competency (T&C) requirements for the advisory team.
- Perform thorough reviews of client files, ensuring adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
- Manage advisers’ continuing professional development (CPD) and professional standing certifications.
Training & Development
- Design and deliver impactful training programmes to elevate adviser expertise.
- Ensure all team members meet FCA requirements for insurance distribution activities.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory updates, and economic developments, sharing knowledge with the team.
Risk Management & Reporting
- Identify and escalate compliance risks, preparing detailed reports for senior leadership.
