Our client, a school in Carlisle, is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Kitchen Manager to oversee their kitchen operations. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for running a busy kitchen that produces food from fresh ingredients and ensuring the smooth running of the lunch service. The working days for this role are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 15:00.

Responsibilities include:

• Previous Kitchen Manager experience, ideally in a school setting
• A proven track record in high-volume, quality school catering
• Ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures
• Managing the kitchen and training the team to meet required standards
• Maintaining a positive, outgoing attitude and a \’can-do\’ approach
