The role of Finance Assistant involves building and maintaining key relationships with suppliers, ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time, and using strong attention to detail to keep records clean and up to date. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring that an assigned group of suppliers are paid correctly, on time, and in full.
Key responsibilities:- Raising purchase orders and goods receipting of invoices requesting payment against correct purchase orders.
- Resolving all queries arising from activities on the assigned portion of the Accounts Payable ledger.
- Auditing Personal Expense Claims and Procurement Card Transactions to ensure adherence to Company Policy.
- Processing payments to suppliers and landlords.
- Assisting with month-end and KPI reporting.
- Maintaining rent payment schedules accurately and processing service charges and insurance-related payments.
- Responding to property arrears queries and advising the Property Team.
- Supporting the assigned Team Manager with Continuous Improvement activities as required.
- Strong team skills and a willingness to support other team members.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Accuracy and speed in processing documentation, primarily invoices.
- Experience with SAP and/or Accounts Payable is advantageous.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a friendly and fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to participating in the drive for both process and service improvement.
