The Test Technician will:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test, perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and modifications of devices and subassemblies working from intricate mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, established repair and test procedures, and written or verbal instructions.
- Complete in a timely and accurate fashion all required production forms, test reports, customer documentation, departmental and other company documentation, using related SAP transactions and other data entry tools.
- Adhere to production schedules, key performance indicators, lead times, departmental and company goals.
- Assist in the resolution of technical issues. Provide information and feedback to supporting personnel for problem identification and resolution leading to product/process improvement.
- Contribute to service growth by offering ideas and techniques to build competence for repairs, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure optimal availability of customer devices.
- Participate in company sponsored training, continuous improvement, departmental training activity, and attend educational seminars as required.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
Your Qualifications
- Education: Associates Degree in a technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical field.
- Related Experience: 2+ years experience in an industrial service environment with demonstrated proficiency at troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical devices.
