Contract Solution Architect - Energy Sector
Architect complex solutions with real-world impact. One of our key clients in the energy sector is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support a series of high-profile digital transformation initiatives. This is an inside IR35 contract role suited to someone who's comfortable navigating complex enterprise environments, aligning architecture with business strategy, and influencing senior stakeholders.
You'll be joining a collaborative delivery team where your input will directly shape the systems that power smarter, more sustainable infrastructure across the UK.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead end-to-end solution design across major digital and infrastructure projects
- Engage senior stakeholders and steer architecture direction across business and technical teams
- Translate complex requirements into scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions
- Contribute to governance, design assurance, and strategic decision-making
- Collaborate across Agile delivery teams (SAFe/SCRUM)
- Help improve architecture practices and support knowledge sharing across teams
What they're looking for:
- Strong enterprise-level architecture experience, ideally across energy, infrastructure or government
- SIFA Level: ARCH 4-5
- Experience in Agile environments, particularly SAFe or Scrum
- Confident influencing at all levels, from developers to execs
- Background in software engineering or support (hands-on experience preferred)
- TOGAF or equivalent certification (desirable)
- Must be a sole UK national and eligible for SC Clearance
