The Situation

A new fleet of trains has been delivered to a Regional Train Operator. Your role is to perform warranty maintenance and fault finding as requested by the customer to ensure optimal train performance. This is a hands-on position focused on ensuring trains are ready for service, helping to minimize delays and cancellations.

The Candidate

Previous experience in rolling stock maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electrical systems on passenger trains.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering.
Experience in fault finding.
Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams.
Proficiency with diagnostic software.

Essential Requirements

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
Experience in repairs and maintenance within a rolling stock environment.
Excellent fault-finding skills and schematic reading ability.
