Responsibilities

  • Drive water-equipped tanker trucks and maintain proper levels of all assigned equipment, adhering to company policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues immediately.
  • Transport materials to predetermined destinations, following commercial driving regulations and local roads.
  • Collaborate with paving crews and spray bituminous tack-coat.
  • Maintain truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Report traffic or site condition problems promptly and gather information about job site locations and road conditions.
  • Ensure truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs follow the guidelines in the Truck Driver's Handbook.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Hourly Range: $25.00 - $26.00, based on experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred or related work experience.
  • 1-2 years of CDL driving experience with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater.
  • Must have Tanker endorsement and be in compliance with all DOT physical requirements.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
  • Hazmat experience is preferred but not required.
  • Skilled in loading and unloading fuel and oil from fuel trucks at terminals.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
