As the Principal Social Worker, you will be at the forefront of developing excellent social work practice and shaping the future of adult social care in Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Provide professional guidance and oversight for social work practice, including Approved Mental Health Act assessments.
- Workforce Development: Lead initiatives to develop the adult community social care workforce.
- Research and Innovation: Promote and utilise research to drive evidence-informed practice and improvements.
- Strategic Influence: Use your expertise to inform strategic decisions and respond to new legislation and policy changes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of practice and lead quality assurance initiatives.
