Join Our Adult Social Care Leadership Team as Principal Social Worker. Are you passionate about making a difference in adult social care? As the Principal Social Worker, you will be at the forefront of developing excellent social work practice and shaping the future of adult social care in Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide professional guidance and oversight for social work practice, including Approved Mental Health Act assessments.
  • Workforce Development: Lead initiatives to develop the adult community social care workforce.
  • Research and Innovation: Promote and utilise research to drive evidence-informed practice and improvements.
  • Strategic Influence: Use your expertise to inform strategic decisions and respond to new legislation and policy changes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of practice and lead quality assurance initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work with partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A professional Social Work qualification and significant professional practice experience.
  • Extensive experience in adult social care safeguarding and high-risk pathways.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to improve practice and services.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to influence and motivate others to achieve ambitious targets.
