Are you a confident Maths educator looking for a more flexible and rewarding role? We’re currently looking for passionate and experienced tutors to provide one-to-one Maths tuition for pupils in the Crumpsall area. These are young learners who, for various reasons, aren’t currently attending mainstream school. This includes pupils with SEN needs, those experiencing anxiety, or those who have missed time in education.

Tuition is delivered during school hours, usually at the pupil’s home or in a local setting like a library. Sessions are tailored to meet the individual needs of each learner, often focusing on helping them rebuild confidence and close any gaps in their understanding.

This is a great opportunity for qualified teachers, former educators or tutors who want to make a direct and meaningful impact without the pressure of the classroom environment.

The role offers:

  • One-to-one Maths tuition for pupils aged 10–16
  • Flexibility to set your own schedule (sessions typically run between 8am–4pm, Mon–Fri)
  • Pay between £25–£30 per hour depending on experience
  • Opportunities to work in local libraries or within pupils' homes
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant

We’re particularly keen to hear from tutors who can adapt their approach for pupils working below their age level and those who are confident in creating engaging, focused lessons.
