Job Description Part of the CFAS division Involved in the assessment of business interruption and other financial losses arising on behalf of clients. Negotiating and settlement of claims. Work within and part of the wider GTS team. Travel and undertake site visits and external meetings. Marketing and promotion of self and business both internally and externally. Responsibilities Assess business interruption and financial claims both externally and internally. Review and analyze financial information. Prepare detailed reports on analytical work, including conclusions. Visit insurers, reinsurers, claimants, and the insured. Communicate regularly with all interested parties, manage interim payments, and prepare reports. Calculate and agree on claim settlements, and prepare final reports. Assist in developing less experienced team members. Build relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities. Maintain and update files, keeping abreast of legal or technical changes affecting cases. Identify and develop new business opportunities for self and team. Qualifications Maintain a customer-focused approach to develop and sustain client relationships. Demonstrate personal integrity aligned with company values. Communicate effectively at all levels. Build and sustain positive working relationships. Be solution-oriented to meet targets. Show flexibility and resilience in operations. Align behaviors with Crawford\’s RESTORE values. Hold an accountancy qualification. Experience in claims or insurance is advantageous. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
