Actemium Automation Nottingham – Senior Engineer (Functional Safety Process)
Actemium Automation Nottingham, a leading industrial automation provider and part of VINCI Energies, is seeking a Senior Engineer with expertise in functional safety and control system design.
Job type: Full-time (37.5 hours/week, flexible hours)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Nottingham
Responsibilities
- Direct liaison with customers and internal design/management team.
- Onsite commissioning and testing of control systems while adhering to site regulations.
- Technical supervision of system design, build, and installation personnel; identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Design and testing of control systems in accordance with agreed specifications, applicable standards, and legislative requirements.
Qualifications
- Engineering background: degree in Electrical or related field.
- High-level ability to understand and produce control system design documents.
- Strong understanding of technical project life cycle.
- Excellent time management skills; structured and methodical approach to work.
- Good appreciation of industrial software control systems.
