Responsibilities:
- This role supports the Communications Business Partner to the President in the management of key strategic projects, such as executive positioning (trade shows, media events, social media, townhalls etc.) and quarterly financial reporting.
- The role also supports the management of the rollout and engagement around our refreshed business strategy.
- You will develop key strategic messages and narratives to position the BU internally and externally.
- Conceptualize, develop, and craft executive presentations, letters, video messages, social media posts, briefings, and other supporting material for external and internal communications.
- Collect and analyse relevant information, extract essences, and develop concise and comprehensive messages that are easy to understand, crisp and memorable for a variety of different stakeholder groups.
- Transform business topics into engaging, creative and meaningful communications using a variety of tools and channels, e.g. presentations, articles, videos, infographics, social media, etc.
- Collaborate across international, cross-functional teams to coordinate integrated communications approaches around initiatives and events, e.g. social media and digital communications, internal communications.
- Where required, support other members of the wider communications team on key strategic projects and initiatives.
Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in communications, public affairs, or in a public relations agency.
- Proven experience in dealing with information that is confidential prior to publication.
- University diploma in communications, journalism, public affairs, marketing or comparable degree.
- High level of strategic and holistic thinking as well as tactical delivery.
- High level of creativity and the ability to transform scientific and business topics into powerful and meaningful communications.
- High level of networking and communications skills.
- Empathetic, open-minded personality, who enjoys working in a multicultural team.
- Flexible, fast-paced and adaptive working style, with an eye for quality.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
