We are looking for a bank of casual, reliable, enthusiastic School Crossing Patrol Officers to join our team helping to keep our children and pedestrians safe on their school journey. Primarily you will be covering sites that are awaiting a new recruit, therefore helping with the continuity of the service.

This post would suit people who just want to β€˜help out every now and then’. You will be on a zero-hour contract offering you the flexibility to work times and at locations that suit you. When working, it would be for an hour on the morning or afternoon.

The post involves assisting children and adults across the road on their way to and from school each morning and afternoon during school term times.

An awareness of the Highway Code, together with experience of working with children and young people, would be advantageous although not essential, as full training will be given. Full uniform, including waterproof clothing, will be provided.
