Rethink is partnering with PeoplePlus to hire a Functional Skills Lead Tutor - Maths to join the team at HMYOI Werrington.
The Role
Based on-site at HMYOI Werrington, the Functional Skills Lead Tutor will be responsible for leading and developing a team to deliver high-quality learning services. Your role includes teaching, demonstrating excellent practice, supporting the Assistant Education Manager in overseeing the functional skills department, and contributing to contract performance, curriculum development, and quality delivery, aligning with our ethos of 'Improving People's Lives'.
What are we looking for?
- Level 3 Maths & English or equivalent
- Full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or equivalent
- Extensive experience and expertise in the field
- Experience in delivering training
- Ability to employ diverse training methods to engage learners
