We are looking for a 3D Designer to join our Retail team here at Cheil London. This role will be based in our London offices with the occasional requirement to travel to our client's offices in Chertsey. We have a hybrid working policy with a minimum of 3 days per week from the office and 2 days per week at home. As with most Cheil roles, this is a 1 year fixed term contract in the first instance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute retail and experiential design projects for a major global electronics brand (e.g., Samsung Electronics)
- Design and visualise physical spaces including retail stores, pop-ups, and exhibition booths
- A focus on Experiential Marketing, Retail Experience, and Store Guide design projects
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define and align design directions
- Develop high-quality 3D renderings, detailed design documentation, and compelling presentations
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and quality
Qualifications
- Prior relevant experience in retail, interior, or spatial design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D retail environments and branded experiences
- Proficient in 3D design software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino, or Cinema 4D
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Proficient in 2D drafting tools such as AutoCAD
- Strong skills in presentation design and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience leading a small team or demonstrated leadership potential
- Experience working on global brand projects
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with brand guidelines and creating immersive user-centered environments
- Experience with rendering tools (V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, etc.)
- Understanding of construction methods and fabrication processes
- Background in both concept development and technical detailing
