We work with major retailers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to turn surplus stock into community benefit through our stores and social enterprise, Community Shop. Location & Shift Details
Location: Company Shop St Helens, Lancots Lane, Sutton Fold, St. Helens, WA9 3EX
Pay: £12.95/hour, paid every 4 weeks
Hours: 20 hours/week, 5 days out of 7, shifts between 6am-10pm Mon-Fri, 6am-8pm Sat, 6am-6pm Sun. Note: evenings, weekends, and bank holidays required.
Role Overview
Assist the section leader in team coordination, ensuring high standards, excellent customer service, and store performance. Support daily operations, team motivation, and store standards.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with team members to deliver excellent department standards.
- Maintain high standards and seek continual improvements.
- Uphold Health, Safety & Environmental policies, promoting a safety culture.
- Review and reduce waste within the department.
Support the section leader with:
- Daily team briefings and task completion.
- Colleague development and coaching.
- Creating an engaging, trusted environment for colleagues and members.
- Upholding company culture and delivering exceptional member experiences.
- Additional departmental tasks as needed.
