Cash & Banking Controller (Client Finance – GPA) Join to apply for the Cash & Banking Controller (Client Finance – GPA) role at BNP Paribas Real Estate Role Overview The Cash and Banking Controller is responsible for ensuring the effective and timely management of cash for properties, in accordance with Client requirements and RICS Client Monies regulations. Responsibilities Deliver high-standard Cash and Banking services aligned with Client expectations; Monitor and allocate received cash, identify sources, and ensure posting to correct accounts within 24 hours; Ensure timely payments and maintain non-overdrawn bank balances; Collaborate with surveyors, Clients, and team members; Manage cash and banking software and related files; Support contractual compliance, SLAs, and KPIs for BNPPRE; Improve processes for best practice financial management in line with legislation; Enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and control of daily operations; Act as primary contact for Clients, surveyors, and relevant parties; Ensure quality assurance reviews are completed and signed off; Assist with internal and external financial audits. Person Specification & Qualifications Working towards a recognised cash and banking or accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA), or equivalent experience (beneficial but not essential); GCSEs including Maths and English; Experience & Skills Experience in cash allocation, source fund identification, and bank reconciliation; Ability to deliver services according to contractual agreements; Teamwork on client monies management; Experience supporting audits and ensuring quality reviews.
