Binnies, an RSK group company, is recruiting Graduate Landscape Architects to join our growing Landscape team in Chester. The team is part of a wider, expanding multidisciplinary Environmental Services team. Binnies UK Ltd. is a leading environmental and engineering consultancy in the UK, known for water sector expertise and a diversifying portfolio including flood risk management, water infrastructure, green/blue infrastructure, sustainable solutions, natural capital, and Biodiversity Net Gain. The Landscape team, based between Chester and Redhill, is an award-winning Landscape Institute Registered Practice. As part of the RSK Group, we are among the largest landscape architecture firms in the UK, offering extensive career development and support towards Chartership. Applicants may work from Chester or Redhill, or remotely from elsewhere in the UK. Binnies offers international project opportunities and experience across various industries, including water, flood risk, and infrastructure.

Role responsibilities:

  • Assist in landscape design services and advice
  • Support landscape surveys, assessments, and LVIA
  • Contribute to landscape drawings, graphics, plans, visualizations, and stakeholder materials
  • Assist with landscape input to appraisals, feasibility studies, and strategies
  • Coordinate with external consultants and landscape architects
  • Support site supervision, inspections, and contract management
  • Collaborate with disciplines like EIA, Ecology, Engineering
  • Work on projects involving habitat creation, flood risk, water utilities, renewable energy, and large infrastructure
  • Communicate with project teams, clients, stakeholders, contractors, and the public

About You:

  • Graduate with a degree/postgraduate diploma (or Masters) in landscape architecture recognized by the Landscape Institute
  • Interest and experience in landscape assessment and ecological design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Aspiring to become a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
  • Innovative, tech-savvy, passionate about environment and landscape
  • Organized, confident, team player, self-reliant
  • Full UK driving license
  • Relevant work experience is advantageous but not essential
