Newton is a global investment management firm owned by BNY, with offices in London, New York, Boston, San Francisco, and Tokyo. It provides investment services to institutional clients, including US and global pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, central banks, endowments, foundations, insurance companies, registered mutual funds, other pooled investment vehicles, and other institutions. Newton focuses on four key areas:

  • Active Equities - Conviction-based, including global equity, small-cap, regional, and thematic capabilities
  • Income - Equity, fixed income, and multi-asset

  • Multi-Asset Solutions - Systematic, outcome-oriented, relative balanced, bespoke, and building blocks

We are seeking a future team member for the role of RFP Writer to join our Commercial team. This role is located in London - HYBRID.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Formulate draft responses to tenders and DDQs, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Tailor response documents to the strategy, geography, and type of client or consultant.
  • Research, gather information, and develop sections as needed, ensuring compliance and proper sign-off.
  • Project manage the RFP process, ensuring timely input, quality reviews, and clear communication.
  • Maintain and update the RocketDocs/PMAPS system, liaise with SMEs, and support global RFP requests.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:

  • Minimum of two years of RFP or industry experience.
  • Organized, with a sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Attention to detail, producing accurate work within appropriate timeframes.
  • Intellectual curiosity, seeking learning and development opportunities.
  • Effective communication skills, producing excellent written work and actively listening.
