The Role: We’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our team and assist the Head of Sales in sourcing new leads and business opportunities. This role will focus on all market segments and geographical areas, including the international luxury leisure market, national and local corporate companies, and various industry sectors. You will utilize local knowledge, contacts, the internet, and social media platforms for focused research.
The Sales Executive will have experience in proactive sales, ideally within the hospitality sector, but this is not essential. The candidate must have excellent customer service skills, a natural passion and enthusiasm for sales and relationship building. The Sales Executive should be highly driven, tenacious, and motivated by success. A professional telephone manner is essential. Working directly with the Head of Sales, General Manager, and other key stakeholders, you will be vital in identifying and exploiting all key business opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate: We seek a Sales Executive with experience in implementing sales plans that drive measurable increases in occupancy, average rates, volume, food and beverage, and banquet sales. You will develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts to generate group and/or convention business, including room sales, food & beverage sales, and catering/banquet services. Proven success in achieving budgeted revenues and sales goals to maximize profitability is required. You will also research and deliver market intelligence and new business updates using tools like Google Alerts and develop strong local product and competitor knowledge.
