About the Opportunity
As a Senior Lecturer and Campus Lead, you will oversee the management and organisation of our Criminology provision at Birmingham campus. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a programme or suite of associated awards/programmes.
- Leading several large, core modules.
- Line managing Lecturers, who may lead modules themselves.
- Contributing to teaching, learning, and assessment activities to ensure excellent student outcomes.
You will collaborate with university stakeholders to ensure efficient, high-quality programme delivery aligned with Arden’s vision of accessible, career-focused education. Days on campus are determined by the student timetable.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Masters (MSc/MA/MRes) or equivalent qualification in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in developing and enhancing criminology programmes at undergraduate level.
- A strong understanding of current teaching, learning, and assessment practices in higher education.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing programme teams and staff.
- A PhD would be an advantage.
