A leading bank is looking for an experienced Data Analyst with knowledge of the Payments space, particularly from a workflow perspective.

£650 - £750 a day

London-based Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

12-month contract with scope to extend

Objective:

  • Manage the firm's Payment Risk
  • Part of the COO organization
  • Service Markets Banking - International Clients
  • Involved in Payments Transformation initiatives
  • Implementing new Payments Controls
  • Enhance and enforce payments risk management

Solutioning, Data & Programme Elements:

  • Transformation projects are data-intensive
  • Require strong data skills
  • Work across various substreams, solutioning different aspects
  • Knowledge of wholesale payments, not retail payments
  • Experience with processing payments in global markets, such as TTS or Securities Services
  • Experience with SWIFT, Clearing House Settlements

Data Skills:

  • Specialized data expertise
  • Proficiency in Python, Tableau (advanced), and SQL
  • Experience with data lineage and related aspects

Technical Skills:

  • 12-15+ years of experience
  • Domain expertise in Operations and Technology
  • Experience with large, complex implementation and transformation programs
  • Hands-on data analysis, program management, and business analysis
  • Understanding of technology architecture, workflows, and tools
  • Change management skills: planning, execution, monitoring
  • Strong payments expertise: understanding of payment flows, types, and messaging
  • Knowledge of Markets, SSO, TTS, and Lending products from transaction to payments
