Derby College Group (DCG) are looking for a Personal Development Trainer to join our Student Experience and Pastoral team. This role is based at our iconic Roundhouse campus with travel to our other amazing campuses when necessary.

The opportunity

Join a dynamic team committed to empowering our learners by designing and delivering engaging and inclusive personal development programs. This role offers the chance to shape essential life skills, RSHE (Relationships, Sex, and Health Education), Prevent awareness, and careers education, particularly for those at lower academic levels. Make a lasting impact by raising aspirations and supporting students’ holistic growth and future success.

About you

You are a committed individual with experience in delivering PSHE, life skills, and Prevent topics in FE and alternative education. You will be skilled in supporting Level 1 students, effectively embedding safeguarding frameworks and British Values into sessions. Holding a Level 3 teaching qualification and Level 2 vocational and core subject credentials, you excel in meeting tight deadlines while focusing on continuous improvement.
