Operational Risk Analyst

Meraki Talent are working with an Investment Manager to help identify an Operational Risk Analyst, the role is hybrid working and requires 1 day a fortnight in the office, this is also a 12 month fixed term contract with lots of benefits including an amazing pension scheme. You will support their Senior Risk Manager across all aspects of enterprise and operational risk, contributing to risk management processes, internal reporting, and key business initiatives.Some of your responsibilities will include:Conduct reviews of risk events, ensuring action plans are implemented to mitigate risks and close control gapsPromote awareness and understanding of operational and enterprise risks across the firmAssist in the preparation of risk reporting and management information (MI)Support the Risk Manager in conducting Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and top-down risk assessmentsAssist in internal and external audits and regulatory reviews as neededContribute to firm-wide risk-related projects and initiatives, such as enhancements to the Supplier Management FrameworkWe are looking for:Understanding of operational risk frameworks and methodologiesAwareness of investment management operationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesHigh attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau and/or Power BI is desirableUniversity degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, Economics, Risk, Business)
