Description: As a Litigation Team Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring sufficient resources exist and are correctly allocated to achieve agreed service levels. You will play a vital role in supporting customers and providing excellent service. You will develop and lead an engaged and committed litigation team that nurtures long-lasting relationships with our clients. The team of Litigation Paralegals plays a vital role within our recoveries department by assisting in the management and progression of possession claims through the County Court. You will work with the Head of Recoveries and other senior staff to develop best practices that deliver high-quality customer rehabilitation services and achieve the business plan. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week at our office in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Litigation Team is correctly structured and resourced to deliver to agreed service levels.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and objectives for all team members.
  • Provide necessary training to enable team members to perform their roles effectively.
  • Ensure sensitive matters are escalated appropriately to the Recoveries Management Team.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members.
  • Maintain awareness of clients' business values and commercial issues.
  • Contribute to client relationship management at an operational level.
  • Meet client management information reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and professional obligations under the Solicitors Code of Conduct.
  • Identify and facilitate system and process improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Understand and train team members on client systems.
