To build, manage, and maintain relationships with Customers as directed by the Road Account Manager. Manage the day-to-day operations of the customers in your portfolio, ensuring agreed service levels and financial targets are met.
We are currently looking for a Sales Operator to join our Europa team. You will need a good telephone manner, ideally come from a customer service position, and be able to proactively deal with situations and problem solve.
Our Ideal Person:
- A strong, confident, and eager-to-learn personality.
- Experience in Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail with a passion for customer service is critical to this role.
- Time management skills are essential, as are communication skills (phone and writing).
- The ability to prioritize and work under workload pressure is also necessary.
In this role, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for all matters related to your assigned portfolio of customers.
- Work with key internal stakeholders such as operations and customs supervisors to obtain delivery status updates for your portfolio of customers in a timely manner.
- Communicate updates to customers via phone or email.
- Manage the customer service cycle from start to finish, ensuring key information for quotes and consignment processing complies with HMRC customs requirements for your Road Account Managers.
- Provide a variety of quotes to serve customer requirements in an ever-changing scenario.
- Ensure credit limits are managed appropriately, and payments and debts are recovered.
- Verify that commodity codes and invoices are correct and processed for dispatch.
- Rectify problematic tasks promptly.
- Proactively engage with existing customers to generate income.
- Respond promptly to customer problems or concerns within the required turnaround time.
