The Role
You'll take responsibility for a manageable caseload of residential property matters - with a strong emphasis on internal transactions, plot sales, and property transfers related to the company's growing development portfolio.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing conveyancing transactions from instruction through to post-completion
- Liaising with colleagues across the business (land, sales, finance, planning) to ensure seamless service
- Advising on the legal process surrounding sales and transfers of residential properties
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal governance
- Playing a key role in driving efficiency and risk reduction across the legal function
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in residential conveyancing
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer - or significant equivalent experience
- A genuine interest in moving in-house and working in a more commercial environment
- Strong communication skills - able to liaise effectively with both legal and non-legal teams
- A methodical, proactive, and team-first approach
If you're looking for a legal role that lets you reclaim your evenings, focus on quality over quantity, and contribute meaningfully to a dynamic in-house legal team - this could be the perfect move.
