Search Health-care are working with a Nationally Recognised Health-care Provider to source a number of experienced support workers for mental health units to provide support to vulnerable service users in their daily life routine.

The emphasis of this job will be working on supporting individuals with severe mental health difficulties and learning disabilities. You will be expected to work flexible shifts, including regular weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months previous experience working as a support worker, particularly with mental health and learning difficulties. We are particularly interested in candidates who have previously completed MAPA/PMVA training.

  • Commitment to ensure that people with disabilities are valued and enabled to take control of their own lives.
  • You are looking to build a fulfilling and rewarding career in social care, truly making a difference to the lives of those you support.
  • You have at least 6 months experience in the mental health sector and can provide 2 years of employment references.
  • Have MAPA or PMVA training.
  • Must have experience with learning difficulties and autism.
