The Role
As an Enabling Support Worker, it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan. You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication. There will be a requirement to cover sleep-in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep-in.
The service provides person-centred care and support, enabling adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, including dementia, to live as independently as possible. They offer three independent living services, ranging from daytime to 24-hour, sleep-in care and support. The service is an Independent Living service run by the disability charity that connects people with their communities.
Their Independent Living specialises in providing a flexible, client-driven approach to care, health and inclusion requirements for people with a wide range of needs and living situations. Whether support is needed for an hour or two, or up to 24 hours a day, they help people to get the most out of life and their local community.
