The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.

To maintain and repair to a measured quality standard, the Heavy Goods trailers of the TIP Group assets (primarily trailers) and its customers' own assets at customers' sites/VMUs/TIP workshops or roadside.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, service, and repair trailers to a high maintenance standard, ensuring conformity to all current company EHS guidelines, policies, procedures, and mandatory EHS legislation.
  • Ensure all compliance details are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company.
  • Provide high customer service levels while working to specified deadlines.
  • Always adhere to the company's health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct oneself in a manner that consistently demonstrates TIP values & behaviours.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be a β€œTime Served” technician or possess City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications & experience, with a technical background in trailer repairs.
  • Welding experience - preferable.
  • High enthusiasm & good communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Initiative to work autonomously if required.
