The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
To maintain and repair to a measured quality standard, the Heavy Goods trailers of the TIP Group assets (primarily trailers) and its customers' own assets at customers' sites/VMUs/TIP workshops or roadside.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, service, and repair trailers to a high maintenance standard, ensuring conformity to all current company EHS guidelines, policies, procedures, and mandatory EHS legislation.
- Ensure all compliance details are completed accurately and promptly.
- Undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company.
- Provide high customer service levels while working to specified deadlines.
- Always adhere to the company's health & safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct oneself in a manner that consistently demonstrates TIP values & behaviours.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be a “Time Served” technician or possess City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications & experience, with a technical background in trailer repairs.
- Welding experience - preferable.
- High enthusiasm & good communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
- Initiative to work autonomously if required.
