We are recruiting an Insurance Processing Technician. Ideally you will have worked within a similar position but are now seeking to expand your experience and develop further.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the business underwriting and claims reviews and recording, working closely with the Insurance Managers.
- Maintenance of an insurance management system including but not limited to inputting data from contracts, extracting usable information and manipulating data for the benefit of our clients.
- Reviewing and statistically analysing monthly Claims Bordereaux and other Loss information received from Brokers.
- Contract wording reviews for new and renewed business.
- Assist with the preparation of the underwriting and claims information.
- Ensure client deadlines in respect of insurance administration, underwriting and claims are met, within the business service standards.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure premium aged debtor reports are relevant and accurate for month end reporting.
- Ensure contracts and related underwriting information are uploaded.
- Corresponding professionally with external parties such as clients, brokers, lawyers, actuaries, banks, investment managers and cedant insurance and reinsurance companies.
- Assist with queries during the year end audit process.
- Personal development support, if wanted including relevant Insurance exams.
