As our Strategic HR Business Partner, you will be at the heart of the HR function, working across a wide range of teams, including Growth and City Development, to ensure our services reflect both internal and external customer needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with Council goals, driving both operational success and long-term growth. π
- Drive Performance: Use data-driven insights to enhance workforce planning, performance management, talent development, and service redesign. π
- Lead and Develop a High-Performing HR Team: Inspire, coach, and manage a team of HR professionals to collaborate effectively, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver exceptional HR services across the Council. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability to ensure team success and alignment with organisational goals. π
- Manage Complex Casework: Lead on complex employee relations issues, providing expert guidance and fostering positive relationships across teams. π€
- Drive Change: Act as a strategic partner, advising leadership teams and driving sustainable change through HR practices that empower teams and enhance service delivery. π
- Champion Inclusion & Equality: Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equality, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices. π€π
- Collaborate with Leadership: Partner with senior leadership to address HR challenges, promote leadership development, and ensure that HR practices support the broader goals of the Council. π¬
