We are seeking a Paralegal/Crown Court Caseworker to work at our Medway office in Kent.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our dedicated Crown Court department. We will offer training and support in becoming police station accredited and, for the right candidate, a pathway to qualifying as a solicitor with financial support.
Although not essential, the role would ideally suit a law graduate.

Main responsibilities of the role
Taking instructions from clients (both on bail and in custody)
Taking statements from defence witnesses
Instructing expert witnesses
Liaising with the Crown Prosecution Service and Court as required
Collating and reviewing documentation and evidence
Managing a caseload efficiently
Briefing counsel
Once police station accredited – representing clients at the police station
