Overview A leading employee benefits firm with over 35 years of experience, serving nearly 5,000 clients across the U.S., is seeking a Retirement Plan Advisor for Business Development in the New England area. This role focuses on developing new business and providing fiduciary guidance to plan sponsors. Responsibilities Identify and research potential clients, including businesses and employers seeking retirement plan solutions. Initiate contact through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead generation methods. Build business by establishing relationships with current and prospective clients and educate them on the full range of services. Collaborate with marketing on client/prospect events and email campaigns. Design and present tailored retirement plan proposals aligned with client goals. Work with internal teams to ensure plans meet compliance and regulatory standards. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and changes in the DC/DB landscape to provide accurate advice. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in retirement, advisory, and compliance services. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and adaptable to new software. Preferred: AIF, CFP, Series 65 license, and Life, Accident, and Health licenses.
